The book YOGA An Analytical Release though small (214 pages) but touches the core of yoga in all its aspects and can prove beneficial to everyone! It takes up yoga sutras of Sage Patanjali and explains them in the light of the Vedas, the Upanishads (esp. Brihadaranyaka, Mandukya, and Isha), The Bhagavad Gita, and The Upadesa-sahasri of philosopher Shankara. It brings out many shades of yoga, all very crucial for a comprehensive view, viz. empirical, devotional, rational, analytical, and philosophical.

It dispels ignorance through its unique explanation of the aphorism on Avidya and effectively turns misery into merit.
